Apelujemy, by każdy i każda zostawił w domu swój dowód tożsamości i przyszła na demonstrację przeciwko antymigranckiej polityce unii i działaniom frontexu.
Unijna polityka zamykania granic zabiła 22 tysięcy ludzi w ciągu ostatnich piętnastu lat. W zeszłym roku na morzu śródziemnym zginęło 3,5 tysiąca osób. Gdyby tonęły łodzie pełne białych europejczyków, podejmowanie akcji ratunkowej nie byłoby nawet przedmiotem debaty. Nie możemy umywać rąk od odpowiedzialności za nasze, europejskie decyzje by skazywać tysiące ludzi walczących o prawo do bezpieczeństwa i poszanowanie godności na śmierć. Nasze przyzwolenie i obojętność wobec bezsensownych śmierci imigrantów tylko wyraźniej uwidacznie jak głęboko w europejskiej kulturze zakorzeniony jest rasizm i ksenofobia.
Ich wyraźną manifestacją są anty-imigranckie protesty organizowane przez ruch narodowy 21. maja w całej Polsce. Zbiegają się z 10. rocznicą powstania unijnej agencji Frontex, której jedynym zadaniem jest szczelne zamykanie granic przed ludźmi w potrzebie, za wszelką cenę, również ich żyć. Polityka frontexu jest przedłużeniem rasistowskich i ksenofobicznych haseł narodowców, z tą tylko różnicą, że unijni biurokraci mogą je realizować w białych rękawiczkach. Nie muszą podpalać ośrodków i domów imigrantów, bo do zamykania granic mogą posłużyć się całym arsenałem zaawansowanej technologicznie broni.
Jak zwykle narodowcy posługują się retoryką pełną hipokryzji, szukając kozła ofiarnego: wszystkiemu winni są jacyś obcy, jacyś oni. Jeśli nie sami migranci, bo powinni siedzieć w swoich szałasach, to przynajmniej reszta UE. Polacy przecież nie będą po raz kolejny po kimś sprzątać. Nie pierwszy raz wizja chrystusa narodów mobilizuje tysiące na ulicach gotowych bronić polskości. Radykalna prawica poszła o krok dalej goszcząc w Damaszku na specjalne zaproszenie dyktatora Assada, którego postępowe demokratyczne metody doprowadziły do jednego z największych kryzysów uchodźczych tego wieku. Gdy polskie elity wysłały wojska do iraku czy afganistanu, nikt nie zająknął się o odpowiedzialności za losy mieszkańców tych krajów. Uzupełnieniem udziału polskich żołnierzy w haniebnych inwazjach, których celem była grabież surowców i geopolityczna dominacja, jest polityka strachu przed obcymi prowadzona tu w kraju. System kapitalistyczny współczesnej europy jest siłą sprawczą i powodem wojen i biedy na tzw. „globalnym południu”. Polska korzystając z dobrodziejstw tego systemu jest za to współodpowiedzialna. Rasizm, ignorancja i wyzysk zawsze służyły sprawie bogatych. To nie oni ryzykują w wojnach, to nie oni płacą ich cenę. Sprzedaż broni do destabilizowanych europejską polityką regionów i rozwijanie technologi kontroli granic przed uchodzącą stamtąd ludnością jest świetnym interesem.
UE próbuje ratować swój wizerunek w odpowiedzi na coraz bardziej kłujące w oczy doniesienia o niekończącym się paśmie tragedii na granicach europejskiej twierdzy. Ugoszczenie w polsce tysiąca migrantek i migrantów nie jest żadnym rozwiązaniem kryzysu wywołanego europejską polityką. Jednak demonizowanie migrantów przez polskich nacjonalistów nie może pozostać bez odpowiedzi. Umocnienie granic jest umacnianiem systemu kapitalistycznego. Narodowcy, frontex i UE reprezentują tę samą stronę konfliktu: rasistowską europejską arogancję i dumę ze służenia bogom, panom i szefom.
Ci, którym udaje się dotrzeć do europy, są skazani na dalszą walkę o najbardziej podstawowe prawa. Wiele imigrantek i imigrantów jest zmuszonych do życia na marginesie europejskich społeczeństw, bo nie mają żadnej możliwości prawnego uregulowania swojego pobytu. Dla nich nich każde wyjście z domu jest równie ryzykowne jak przeprawa przez morze śródziemne: przejście na czerwonym świetle może się skończyć nie mandatem, ale deportacją, do kraju z którego musieli wyjeżdżać ze względu na wojny, prześladowania i inne trudne warunki życia.
W bardzo symbolicznym geście, w solidarności z imigrantami bez dokumentów, ogłaszamy czwartek, 21 maja dniem bez papierów. Apelujemy, by każda i każdy zostawił w domu swój dowód tożsamości i przyszła na demonstrację przeciwko antyimigracyjnej polityce unii i działaniom frontexu. Ruszamy o 17.00 z Placu Politechniki.

In a merely symbolic gesture of solidarity with the immigrants without documents, we call for 21st of may to be an international day without documents. We call on each to leave their documents at home and come to a demonstration against EU anti-immigrant policy and actions of frontex.
EU policy of closing borders have killed 22 thousand people over last fifteen years. Just last year, three and a half thousand people died on the mediterranean sea. If the drowning boats were full of white europeans, no one would waste time to debate if to start a rescue operation. We can not absolve ourselves from responsibility of our – european decisions to sentence to death thousands of people, struggling for their right to security and dignity. Our acceptance and indifference in the face of senseless deaths of migrants only highlight the racism deeply entrenched in european culture.
The clear manifestation of the racism and xenophobia are the anti-immigrant protests organised by the polish nationalist movement on may 21st, all over Poland. The protest coincide with the 10th anniversary of founding eu border agency Frontex, tasked with closing the borders and preventing people in need from entering, at any price, even of their lives. The frontex policy is just an extension of the racist and xenophobic slogans of the nationalist right wingers. The eu bureaucrats do not need to set the migrants centres and homes on fire, they can realize their policies wearing white gloves. They have at their disposal a range of sophisticated technology to monitor, control and shut the borders.
Nationalists are using the usual discourse, full of hypocrisy, looking for scapegoats: it’s always the others that are to blame, it’s THEM. If not the migrants themselves, for they should stay in their shacks, then it’s the EU. Polish people will not clean someone else’s mess again! It isn’t the first time that the vision of christ of the nations mobilises thousands to take to the streets in order to defend ‘Polishness’. When polish elites have sent army to iraq and afghanistan, nobody asked about the responsibility for the fate of those people. Polish radical right wingers went a step further, when they’d visited dictator Assad in Damascus, who’s democratic, progressive methods have caused one of the biggest refugee crisis of this century. The politics of fear is complimentary to the polish soldiers’ participation in shameful invasions aimed at stealing resources and geopolitical domination. The capitalist system of modern europe is a force behind and a reason for wars and poverty in so called ‘global south’. Poland, by taking advantage of that system is co-responsible. Racism, ignorance and exploitation have always been serving for the interest of the rich. They are not the ones to risk their lives at wars, or pay the price of it. On the contrary – selling arms to the regions destabilised by european politics and the development of the border control technologies is a great business.
EU is desperately attempting to save its image, having to face growing public awareness about a streak of tragedies at the borders of european fortress. Hosting in poland a thousand migrants is not a solution to the crisis caused by the european policies. However, demonising the migrants by the polish nationalists cannot be left unaddressed.
Those, who manage to reach europe, are forced to continue struggling for the most basic rights. Many immigrants have to live on the margins of the european societies, because they have no way to regularise their legal status. For them, leaving their house is as risky as crossing the Mediterranean sea: crossing the street on the red light might lead not to a symbolic fine, but a deportation to a place from which a war, oppression or harsh living conditions forced them to leave.

We call on each to leave their id at home and come to a demonstration against EU anti-immigrant policy and actions of frontex. We will leave from Plac Politechniki, Warsaw at 5 pm.
